From the early 1990s to 2008, Orange County Register obituary reporter Robin Hinch chronicled thousands of lives, trying to capture the essence of each in around 750 words.
Now, it’s time for the Register to tell her life story. Hinch died in her sleep early in the morning on Oct. 1. She was 82.
Her two sons, Jim and Ben, remember their mother as “vibrant,” “quick,” “ironic” and a “no bull ... truth-teller.”
She also worked, relentlessly, at every element of her life.
